Following yesterday’s result, should we be looking at three at the back? McCarten is very unlucky to have been dropped, and he could be a welcome addition to sure up a slightly iffy back line. Duggan, Barnes, Warren and beeley all fit into the wing back mould and our CMs are all disciplined enough to sit in front of the defence and pick/choose when they attack.
I think this system would give us more width, and also allow us fo play a narrow front three with the likes of mackreth, Byrne, Chadwick all able to run in behind and support either Gray or Amis up top.
3-4-2-1 is what I’d like to see - thoughts?
