Pre Season

Well it was a mixed bag at Widnes last night. We looked lax at the back in both halves and it wouldnt have been unfair if Widnes were 3 up within 25 mins. Second half only poor finishing let them down. Do we need to start looking for reinforcements or is there a preferred back four that can do a job?

Seriously impressed with Coddling both last night and at Rhyl. Looks a future fan fave. Turner played very well in midfield against Rhyl but looked out of place in the back line last night. Hopefully his injury isnt serious.

Not sure what to make of Dean yet. Looks good in the air, has an eye for goal but from what ive seen so far isnt pacy. If we play him right then will be an asset. Will suit being alongside Killer more than Deegan i think as they will provide variety whereas Deegan and Dean look too similar although in a backs against the wall situation having 2 target men up front could be handy.
